Role Overview

• Location: Watford, United Kingdom
• Package: £80,000 per annum plus a range of inclusive benefits

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of automation, monitoring, and CI/CD platforms to ensure efficient application delivery.
• Develop and optimise infrastructure automation using AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and containerisation tools like Docker, Fargate, and ECS.
• Build dashboards and automation scripts to improve visibility, security, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices in security and cost management.
• Manage work tasks effectively by breaking down complex projects and maintaining clear communication across teams.

Main Skills Needed

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and containerisation technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, particularly with serverless solutions such as Lambda and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with CICD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Proven knowledge of application monitoring tools and serverless/cloud architectures.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in *nix system administration.
