Role Overview

• Location: Hampshire, United Kingdom
• Package: £74,000 per annum, plus benefits including private medical, pension, bonus, and more

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and maintain secure infrastructure in Kubernetes environments
• Manage and optimise tools like Splunk for log management, monitoring, and threat detection
• Conduct vulnerability scans using Nessus, track remediation, and report findings
• Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines and automate security workflows through scripting or infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security best practices and maintain comprehensive system documentation

Main Skills Needed

• Proven experience in security or platform engineering, especially within secure environments
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Splunk, and Nessus for security, monitoring, and vulnerability management
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar automation tools
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, threat models such as ATT&CK, and SIEM configuration
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a drive to improve technological resilience and security
