The Job
Reporting into the Finance Manager in this Accountant role, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct monthly reviews of business performance and project status to provide insights.
- Monitor financial performance and follow up on actions.
- Manage transaction commitments, billing processes and balance write-offs for accurate financial reporting.
- Support the design and implementation of new finance processes.
- Prepare management reports and briefings.
- Contribute to business projects as required to support key objectives and outcomes.
You
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following:
- Minimum of two years’ demonstrated experience in a similar Accountant role.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Previous experience using SAP ERP (highly regarded)
- Prior experience working in the public sector will be favoured.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
