Summary

Monday through Thursday 7:30am - 6:30pm (1 hr Lunch)

The Logistics Specialist plays a key role in supporting the receipt, storage, and distribution of marketed products within a cGMP-regulated environment. This position operates within a distribution center setting and is responsible for executing receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities in the biotechnology industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack marketed products according to shipping orders
  • Move products and non-GMP supplies using manual labor, pallet jacks, and powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks)
  • Perform physical inventory counts
  • Conduct functionality and safety checks on equipment (e.g., forklifts)
  • Access and update various databases with a high degree of accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Create, collect, and store records in accordance with corporate retention policies
  • Participate in departmental projects, including:
    • Investigating and analyzing issues
    • Developing potential solutions
    • Documenting processes
    • Communicating findings and results
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5 タモ6 years of relevant industry experience required
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Life or Physical Sciences preferred
    • Equivalent experience in inventory management or the biopharma industry may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Proficiency in PC applications and business systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 40 lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended period
