We're looking for a Materials Analyst to ensure a steady flow of materials that supports production while optimizing inventory, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency. This role partners with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Top Responsibilities
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP), supplier releases, and inventory to support the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Analyze material shortages and inventory variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate material movement between manufacturing facilities and external warehouses while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with Engineering on part transitions and engineering change implementation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support continuous improvement, S&OP, freight planning, and inventory optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or 4+ years of relevant materials/planning experience).
- 2+ years of MRP experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (PLEX preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience working with international suppliers is a plus.
- Knowledge of Customs & Duties processes and Spanish or German language skills are preferred.
