The following duties are required at the Hiroshima Plant, which manufactures electronic components for automobiles (centre displays, speedometers, etc.).
1) Procurement of parts
2) Coordination of delivery dates with suppliers
3) Inventory control
4) Preparation of parts procurement for new products
Job description:
1) Parts procurement.
Ordering using the MRP (QAD in our company) system.
Change system parameters as required to suit the actual situation.
2) Coordination of delivery dates with suppliers
2) Coordination of delivery dates with suppliers in order to respond to variable factors, such as customer requirements, and to avoid influencing the process.
If a risk of impact on the customer is identified, work with the customer to resolve the issue.
3) Inventory management
Optimise inventories with an awareness of cash flow.
Negotiate countermeasures in the event of shortages in supplier production capacity.
4) Preparation of parts procurement for new products
Investigate and understand suppliers' production capacities.
Requirements
Skills/experience required:
- Experience in the production control sector
- Data analysis skills
- Team pulling
Other experience, etc. that you would like to have if possible:
- Experience of working with overseas suppliers
- Experience of working overseas
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or science preferred
