Role Overview
The Business Analyst will be part of the DROM Strategy, Change & Transformation team in APAC, supporting the deployment of change across the bank's Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) capability, including Transaction Reporting.
The role will work closely with Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to document business requirements, processes and change impacts across multiple regulatory and transformation initiatives, covering both regulatory-mandated and discretionary change.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate complex, multi-jurisdictional regulatory change across APAC.
- Support regulatory reporting change initiatives by partnering closely with DROM regulatory reporting teams, who are the primary recipients of change.
- Support the definition and implementation of regulatory change within operational processes.
- Create and maintain key Business Analysis artefacts, including:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Process maps
- Requirements / JIRAs
- Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
- Provide Business Analysis input into project governance activities, including working groups and steering committees.
- Prepare relevant meeting materials, presentations and status updates for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Global Markets and Global Banking product teams, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Controls and Technology.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure requirements are clearly documented, understood and delivered within agreed timelines.
- Manage multiple priorities while working across complex change initiatives and evolving requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Change Management within Financial Services.
- Experience supporting regulatory reporting change, regulatory remediation or control-driven transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of Global Markets and/or Global Banking businesses, products and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and succinctly present complex issues to senior stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet delivery deadlines while managing multiple priorities and working with incomplete or evolving information.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Knowledge of structured Business Analysis techniques, including:
- Use Case development
- Business Process Modelling
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Process mapping
