Delivery Lead – Data Migration & Cloud Transformation- GCP

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join a large-scale enterprise data transformation program focused on migrating legacy data platforms to a modern cloud-based environment.

This is a high-profile role within a multi-stream transformation initiative, where you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of a dedicated work package, ensuring successful execution across business, data, engineering, testing, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major program workstream
• Manage cross-functional teams across business, technology, data, and testing
• Drive governance, reporting, RAID management, and dependency management activities
• Ensure delivery milestones, scope, quality, and business outcomes are achieved
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and senior executives
• Facilitate program ceremonies, reporting forums, and governance activities
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and delivery dependencies
• Drive strong delivery disciplines, planning, and execution across multiple teams

About You You will bring:

• Proven experience leading large-scale delivery streams within enterprise transformation programs
• Strong experience delivering complex data migration, cloud migration, or data platform transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated expertise in governance, RAID management, dependency management, and delivery reporting
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to influence outcomes and drive delivery without direct authority

Highly Desirable

• Experience with data platform migrations and cloud transformation programs
• Exposure to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) environments
• Understanding of data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, ingestion pipelines, and data modelling
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and regulatory requirements

Industry Experience Experience within financial services or insurance environments is highly regarded, particularly within large, complex, and regulated organisations.
