About the Role:
In this role, you will be working on a combination of security operations and project delivery. You will be responsible for implementing, and monitoring advanced security protocols tailored to a large complex environment. You will leverage your skills in Python scripting and Linux systems to identify vulnerabilities, automate security tasks, and respond to incidents. Additionally, You will be responsible for implementing and managing security tools like CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Tenable, while supporting key initiatives such as the IAM uplift, alignment with the Essential Eight, and improving their overall security position.

Responsibilities:
- Enhancing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Driving alignment with Essential Eight strategies.
- Conducting comprehensive reviews and improvements of the organization's security environment.
- Manage and implement security tools and platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Tenable, and other relevant technologies.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the organization maintains a robust and proactive security posture.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align security strategies with business goals and operational needs.
- Conduct assessments and provide actionable recommendations to improve security controls, frameworks, and governance processes.
- Document processes, policies, and procedures related to security operations and uplift activities to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Proven experience in security operations and delivering security uplift projects.
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Tenable.
- Strong understanding of IAM systems and security frameworks like the Essential Eight.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an agile and adaptable mindset.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly regarded.
