Machine Operator - 3rd AWS

Awesome opportunities for hire on with Perfetti Van Melle! Join a growing manufacturing team as a Production Machine Operator! We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals with previous food manufacturing experience preferred who are ready to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Production Machine Operator on the AWS Night Shift:5:30 PM – 6:00 AM

Starting wage is $21.60 per hour

Rotating Schedule:

• Week 1: Work Sun, Mon, Fri & Sat
• Week 2: Work Wed & Thurs
• Only work approximately half the year!

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments to keep production running efficiently
• Perform quality checks, including package integrity, weights, and labeling
• Enter production data into the computer
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

What We're Looking For

• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer and math skills
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
