Hollister - HR/GA Manager

Company: our client is a private company that develops, manufactures, and markets healthcare products and services worldwide. They offer advanced medical products for various treatments as well as provide innovative healthcare programs, services, and educational materials for patients and healthcare professionals. Although they're in a niche space, they are the market leader with a large market share which is continuing to grow. They have approximately 100 employees in Japan.

Background: replacement

Role: the role will be responsible for HR, GA, and legal while managing an HR/GA staff that looks after payroll, benefits, and general administration. This role looks after HR business partnering, recruiting, OD, performance management, and it'll be a mix of hands-on and strategic work. As the company is slowly growing there aren't dramatic changes expected but they will be future projects relating to rolling a global assessment and salary scheme. Although the role has a manager title (for consistency with the global HR organization) it sits on the leadership team and operates very much like a director.

They have a stable business and so they can focus on long term strategy. It might not be ideal for individuals that like a fast paced, aggressive environment.
