Application Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) （ PSR-8157)

A Global IT Service firm is looking for Application Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) to join its fast growing team. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring Framework, and a solid understanding of security best practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Experience with containerization, database management, and design patterns is essential. Knowledge of AWS and microservice orchestration is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with other systems and services
- Ensure adherence to security best practices in all aspects of application development
- Utilize containerization technologies like Docker to streamline application deployment and management
- Work with relational databases, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure optimal database performance
- Apply design patterns to create clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality solutions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and related technologies

Required skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices in application development
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker
- Solid understanding of relational databases and expertise in SQL
- Strong grasp of design patterns and their application in software development

Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
