Oil Shaker Line Operator

Schedule: 1st Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Oil Shaker Line Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring a heat treat furnace line, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up the production line according to work orders and operating procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks and complete maintenance tasks prior to line startup.
• Monitor oil and water filtration systems and replace filters as needed.
• Complete in-process quality inspections and identify defects or irregularities.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or out-of-spec conditions.
• Safely operate production equipment and related machinery.
• Load, unload, and stage parts while preventing product mix-ups.
• Operate manual oiling stations and assist with additional production equipment as assigned.
• Prepare finished products for quality inspection, packaging, and shipment.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and logs.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe while following all safety procedures.
• Report unsafe conditions and assist with general housekeeping throughout the production area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic production issues and work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and industrial conditions.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, gloves, and hearing protection when required.
