Our client, a leading Sephora makeup brand, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, California on a hybrid schedule (2–3 days a week in-office). Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is ideal for an analytical, hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys partnering cross-functionally while helping build scalable financial processes.

Job Duties Include:
- Prepare recurring financial reports, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze monthly financial performance, including budget-to-actual variances, and identify key trends and opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Develop financial models and present data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and variance analysis.
- Manage the company's travel and expense (T&E) program, including expense report audits and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other business partners to drive financial initiatives.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, banking and financing activities, system implementations, and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, consumer goods, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas; experience with Power Query is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating financial data into meaningful business insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
