CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR | DATA CENTRE DEVELOPMENT

Our client is a rapidly growing project delivery and development business operating within the data centre sector. With a significant pipeline of work secured and ambitious growth plans ahead, they are seeking a commercially minded Contract Administrator to support the next stage of their expansion.

The Role
Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects, ensuring contracts, costs and project finances are effectively managed.
This is not a role for someone who prefers to sit behind a desk all day.
The successful candidate will split their time between the office and project sites, building strong relationships with stakeholders while taking ownership of specific tasks within the commercial function.
The position will initially involve a secondment into a major data centre developer, providing exposure to one of Australia's fastest growing construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Preparation and assessment of progress claims
• Management and processing of subcontractor claims and invoices
• Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting
• Contract administration and commercial management support
• Working closely with project delivery teams and senior stakeholders
• Assisting with procurement and subcontract management
• Supporting the Commercial Director across multiple active projects
• Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery
About You
• Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction, mission critical, industrial or infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
• Experience managing progress claims, variations and subcontractor accounts
• Comfortable operating within a fast paced and evolving environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, resilient and capable of taking ownership of outcomes
• Ambitious and motivated by long term career growth opportunities
