Field Service Engineer

Role:

The successful Field Service Engineer will be based in the Leinster region, ideally within the Greater Dublin / Kildare area, and will cover a nationwide territory as required.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and optimisation of systems in the field, ensuring performance, reliability, and uptime across multiple sites.


Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring system performance and identifying anomalies
  • Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Troubleshooting faults and carrying out repairs on-site
  • Supporting the optimisation and efficiency of operational systems
  • Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
  • Supporting day-to-day operations across a portfolio of sites
  • Working closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues


Person:

This role will suit candidates with electrical, maintenance, or field service experience looking to move into or develop within the renewable energy sector.

  • Qualification in electrical, mechanical, or engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience in a field service, maintenance, or technical support role
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Understanding of electrical systems and ability to read schematics beneficial
  • Good IT and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Full, clean driving licence essential
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight when required
