The General Manager will take full responsibility for the operational, commercial and financial performance of the business.
Leading a national management team, you will oversee operations, sales, finance and business development while ensuring the organisation continues to achieve its strategic growth objectives. - Lead the overall operational, commercial and financial performance of the business.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to achieve sustainable national growth.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing executive leadership team.
- Drive accountability through clear KPIs, performance management and coaching.
- Oversee budgeting, financial performance, cashflow and profitability.
- Monitor business performance through reporting, analytics and operational metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national clients and stakeholders.
- Chair leadership meetings and present business performance to the Board.
- Champion a positive, values-driven culture across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site or national operations in a General Manager, COO or equivalent executive leadership role.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience driving growth, profitability and business performance.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary leadership teams across operations, finance and sales.
- Highly developed strategic planning and business improvement capability.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching and people development skills.
- Strong financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people.
