Machine Winder Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Overview

Nesco Resource is currently hiring an experienced Machine Winder Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Lakeland. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery according to established procedures
• Plan and prepare equipment for upcoming production runs
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality production
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate concerns to supervisors
• Read and interpret production specifications and work instructions
• Maintain a thorough understanding of machine controls, switches, and operating systems
• Assist with implementing production procedures and company policies
• Provide guidance and support to team members as needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic math skills (high school level)
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds continuously and 45 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending, reaching, and stretching
• Must be dependable and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
