Supporting a diverse range of operations, the business continues to invest in its finance capability and is looking for an accountant who can contribute across reporting, analysis and stakeholder support activities. The finance team works in a collaborative environment, partnering with stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and maintain strong reporting standards.
The Role
This is a broad accounting role offering exposure across financial reporting, month-end processes and stakeholder engagement.
You'll work across a variety of reporting responsibilities while supporting the wider finance team to ensure deadlines are met and financial information remains accurate and reliable. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management reports and financial analysis
- Completing reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow activities
- Supporting stakeholder reporting requirements and financial reviews
- Assisting with audit and compliance obligations
- Reviewing transactions and investigating variances
- Supporting finance process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Providing support across a range of finance activities as required
About You
You are an adaptable accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of your responsibilities.
You're comfortable managing competing priorities, learning new processes and building relationships with stakeholders. You enjoy understanding how financial results are generated and take pride in producing accurate and meaningful reporting.
You’ll bring:
- Degree qualification in Accounting or Finance
- CA or CPA studies underway (or completed)
- Experience in a financial or management accounting role
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Exposure to budgeting and forecasting activities
- Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
