People & Culture Advisor

A leading ASX-listed organisation is seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join their Brisbane-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, established business with a national workforce and a strong focus on continuing to evolve and strengthen its People & Culture function.
 
This is a true generalist advisory role within a collaborative team environment. Rather than operating within a traditional HR hierarchy, the team structure brings together Business Advisors and Business Partners who work closely with leaders across the organisation, providing practical, commercially focused advice and support.
 
Reporting into a newly appointed Team Leader, this role will suit an experienced HR Advisor looking for broader exposure, increased ownership and the opportunity to partner with stakeholders across a complex corporate environment.
 
About the role

• Provide trusted HR advice and support to leaders across the business, helping them navigate employee matters and people challenges
• Manage a broad generalist portfolio across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, onboarding, workforce planning and policy guidance
• Act as a key point of contact for HR enquiries, including employment documentation, position description updates, visa support and general HR administration
• Support leaders with workforce planning, recruitment activities, salary benchmarking and reporting
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across a national workforce of approximately 1,000 employees and 400 contractors
• Work closely with the wider People & Culture function including Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Workplace Relations specialists
• Provide practical advice and solutions while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

About you
 
You will be an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys working closely with the business and building strong stakeholder relationships. You will be someone who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves, managing a varied workload and providing practical advice to leaders.
You will ideally have:

• 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong exposure across employee relations, performance management and HR processes
• The confidence to partner with managers and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to prioritise and work through ambiguity
