Overview:

Your expertise will directly contribute to advancing sensor emulation, test frameworks, and hardware integration, ensuring the highest standards of reliability and safety in autonomous operations. Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of industry experience in embedded software development.
- Strong programming skills in C++, with a focus on low-latency, high-performance applications in user and kernel space on embedded Linux.
- Extensive experience with Linux system and network programming, including networking protocols.
- Proficiency in Python, especially in developing automation frameworks and tooling (e.g., Pytest).
- Hands-on experience in building hardware/software integration test frameworks utilizing interfaces such as Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and CAN.
- Proficient in version control tools (Git), build systems (e.g., Bazel), and unit testing frameworks (e.g., GTest).
- Ability to test, troubleshoot, and verify hardware and software components to ensure quality and reliability.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Linux kernel development and device driver implementation, particularly for ARM cores via Xilinx SDK and MPSoC platforms.
- Familiarity with Yocto, Petalinux, FPGA development, SystemVerilog, and HDL verification.
- Knowledge of high-speed protocols like PCIe, MIPI CSI-2, and networking protocols such as PTP/IEEE 1588 and Automotive Ethernet.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and understanding of PCB design and manufacturing workflows.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- 4+ years of embedded software development experience working with Linux-based systems, sensor emulation, and hardware integration in a safety-critical environment.
Other Requirements:
- Location: Onsite in Foster City, CA (5 days per week).
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Contract Duration: 6+ months with potential for extension.
- Clearance: W2 employment only.
- Travel: Not specified.
