Business Analyst – IT Projects
Location: Central Singapore
Contract: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Working Hours: Office Hours
Salary: Up to SGD $6,000/month (Depends on experience and Qualifications)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support IT/software projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops and review of existing specifications.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and process models.
• Support solution design, testing, UAT and implementation by validating solutions against agreed requirements and scope.
• Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, including assessing and documenting the impact of requirement changes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align expectations and ensure requirements remain within the agreed solution scope.
• Support effective stakeholder communication and help minimise scope creep.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and accurately implemented.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and requirements engineering, preferably for Enterprise Bespoke Systems or similar environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional/non-functional specifications and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience supporting UAT, solution implementation and requirements/change management.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong proofreading and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve.

Good to Have

• IIBA certification such as ECBA, CCBA or CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Project Management certification.
• Experience working on Singapore-based projects.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Python or R.
• Strong technical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with BPMN/UML modelling.
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
