Assistant Finance Manager (Full Spectrum, West)

Our client is a Global MNC in the Logistics industry. They are currently looking to bring onboard an Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team. This role is suited to an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on financial controllership, strengthening governance, driving process improvements, and supporting business growth.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, managing statutory compliance, overseeing audits and tax matters, and contributing to finance transformation initiatives. You will also support the development of junior finance team members while partnering with stakeholders across the business.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close process.
• Prepare and review financial reports, journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage external audits, statutory reporting, GST filings, and corporate tax coordination.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Support finance transformation and system enhancement projects.
• Coach and mentor junior finance team members while reviewing accounting deliverables.
• Partner with business stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and support budgeting, forecasting, and other finance initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Approximately 8–12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience leading month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
