Business Development Manager - Office Fit Out

Are you a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Manager, with a strong network and a passion for the fit out industry?

We’re working with a leading workplace strategy, design and project delivery consultancy seeking a BDM to drive growth across the commercial workplace sector.

This is an opportunity to join an established, design-led business delivering end-to-end workplace solutions for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. The business works closely with clients from initial workplace strategy and vision through to design and project delivery, creating considered, high-quality environments that support the way people work.

The Role As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic client relationships and converting opportunities into successful workplace projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the commercial workplace and office fit-out market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property developers, landlords, tenant representatives, corporate occupiers, project managers, architects and other key industry stakeholders.
• Develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
• Lead business development initiatives, pitches and presentations from initial opportunity through to conversion.
• Work collaboratively with internal strategy, design and project delivery teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
• Understand client requirements and identify opportunities to deliver value through workplace strategy, design and project delivery.
• Represent the business at industry events and actively build its market presence.
• Develop long-term client partnerships and identify opportunities for repeat business.

About You

• A strong track record of generating new business and exceeding revenue targets.
• Existing relationships across the commercial property, workplace, construction, fit-out or professional services sectors would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, confident and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Highly proactive, self-motivated and driven by achieving results.
• A genuine interest in workplace, design, property and the built environment.
• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a creative and high-performing team.
