Introduction

Our client is a global provider of investment data, research, and analytics, supporting institutional investors across public and private markets. They are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales professional to drive business growth within their Real Assets business in Japan.


About the Role

Based in Tokyo, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with institutional investors, including asset owners, asset managers, real estate and infrastructure investors, and developers. You will manage the full sales cycle while working closely with regional and global teams to deliver investment data and analytics solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop new business across the institutional real assets market in Japan.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Build relationships with senior investment professionals and decision-makers.
  • Promote investment data, analytics, benchmarking, portfolio, and risk solutions.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective pipeline management.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and collaborate with internal teams to deliver client solutions.


Requirements

  • 5+ years' institutional sales or business development experience within real estate, infrastructure, asset management, financial data, or investment analytics.
  • Strong track record of new business development and complex solution sales.
  • Knowledge of real estate or infrastructure investing is highly desirable.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Fluent Japanese and business-level English.
  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA, CAIA, MBA, or equivalent is an advantage.
