Business Development Manager

Mission:

• As a sales leader, the Business Development (BD) Manager will build and lead a capable and dynamic team, provide strong business results and drive incremental sales in the rapidly growing automotive market.
• The BD Manager will define and execute account strategies to deliver the best possible customer experience for some of the most strategic automakers in Japan.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and executes business strategy to achieve sales goals.
• Analyzes market dynamics to maximize successes and to create new sales growth opportunities through managing the customer design business cycle, market research, intelligence and competitive market.
• Lead and own the overall customer, including price and commercial negotiation, achieve financial targets, account management, and strategic planning.
• Build relationships across the customer’s technical and commercial groups, from working level to executive leadership.
• Build a high level of customer intimacy by being present regularly with the customer and work to drive continued relevance and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience within the automotive Tier1 industry,  in Sales, Business Development, Product Management or related experience.
• Experience with electronic products
• Self-motivated, analytical, persuasive and strong business acumen with an outstanding track record in sales.
