Project Manager - Industrial Construction
South Auckland | Large-Scale Industrial Projects | Early Project Involvement
We're working with a well-established contractor with two major projects about to commence, and are looking for experienced Project Managers who understand the unique demands of warehouse and cold storage construction.
These aren't projects where you'll inherit someone else's programme six months in. You'll be involved early, working alongside the wider team to influence procurement, buildability, sequencing and delivery strategy before construction ramps up.

You will ideally have experience across:

- Large-scale warehouse facilities with associated office space
- Purpose-built cold storage facilities with complex services requirements
- Project values ranging from $20M - $40M
- Strong pipeline of future industrial work behind them
- Taking projects from late design through to completion
- Providing practical buildability input alongside design and preconstruction teams
- Leading procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Managing tender packages and subcontract negotiations
- Driving programme development and delivery
- Working closely with consultants, subcontractors and clients
- Maintaining strong commercial oversight with support from the project QS
This role is specifically suited to Project Managers who have delivered industrial projects before.
You will ideally have experience across:
- Cold storage facilities
- Distribution centres
- Warehousing projects
- Logistics or industrial developments
- Design & Build delivery environments
