The City of Tea Tree Gully is seeking an experienced Organisational Development Coordinator to coordinate and implement learning and development initiatives across the organisation.
Reporting to the Manager People and Capability, you will work with leaders, employees, People Business Partners and external training providers to identify capability needs and deliver practical and contemporary development solutions.
Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will coordinate learning programs, conduct training needs analysis, maintain learning systems and use workforce data to measure participation and outcomes. You will also support the implementation of Oracle across Council’s talent and learning functions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating learning, development and organisational capability programs.
- Undertaking training needs analysis and identifying workforce skills gaps.
- Supporting leadership, professional development and compliance training.
- Managing training schedules, bookings, providers and learning resources.
- Maintaining learning records, qualifications and system information.
- Developing reports and insights on participation and learning outcomes.
- Supporting the implementation and use of learning management systems.
- Monitoring programs and recommending continuous improvements.
About you:
You are a practical and organised learning and development professional who enjoys turning organisational needs into effective development programs.
You understand adult learning principles and can tailor learning approaches for different workforce groups. You are confident working with stakeholders, external providers, learning systems and data, and can manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.
You bring strong attention to detail, professional maturity and a genuine interest in improving employee capability and development outcomes.
You will also have:
- Experience coordinating learning and organisational development programs.
- Experience conducting training needs or skills gap assessments.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective learning methodologies.
- Experience working with external training providers and facilitators.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience maintaining learning systems, records and reporting data.
- Strong analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with Oracle or alternate learning management system.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or progress towards completion.
- A Diploma in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check.
- Level 5 remuneration of $104,068.84 to $108,312.05 plus superannuation.
- Flexible working hours between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm.
