Confidential Senior Controller

Our client, a beauty brand with 50+ locations across the US, is seeking a Confidential Senior Controller to join their Accounting & Finance team for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will bring strong multi-unit experience, advanced NetSuite proficiency, a high level of technical and systems aptitude, and proven experience leading a lean accounting team.

This is a full-time permanent position starting ASAP.

Job Duties Include:

• Lead all accounting operations across a high-growth, multi-location organization, including general ledger, AP/AR, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month/quarter/year-end close.
• Oversee GAAP-compliant financial reporting, internal controls, tax compliance, audits, cash forecasting, and risk management, partnering closely with executive leadership and external financial partners.
• Drive systems optimization, automation, and process improvements, ensuring accurate and efficient integration across ERP, operational, and financial systems.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while partnering cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, HR, and senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, refinancing, and strategic growth initiatives

Job Qualifications Include:

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated people-management experience and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong multi-unit experience, ideally supporting 40+ locations within retail, hospitality, healthcare, consumer services, restaurants, or another complex multi-location organization.
• NetSuite proficiency required, along with advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems/technology aptitude; exposure to HRIS and other integrated business systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax, internal controls, audits, and multi-state environments; CPA is a plus. Must be a polished, resilient communicator who is comfortable partnering directly with executive leadership.

Salary: $150K + 20% Bonus
