HR Business Partner (6-Week Contract)

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide short-term leave cover, supporting a diverse portfolio across the Mid North Coast region.

This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive HR professional who can quickly build relationships, provide practical people advice, and effectively support leaders across a broad range of HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Workers Compensation claims and injury management processes
• Provide employee relations advice and end-to-end case management support
• Coach and support managers on people-related matters
• Coordinate and manage fitness for work assessments
• Deliver general HR advisory and administrative support to the wider team
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide commercially focused HR solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role
• Strong knowledge of Employee Relations, case management, and Workers Compensation
• Experience managing complex workplace matters with confidence and professionalism
• The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
• Willingness and ability to provide on-site support where required
