We seek a solid sales professional with a sales & technical background in the plastics & rubber industry

The Company:

My client service the Australian Plastics and Rubber Industry providing highly experienced and comprehensive support to our customers with a focus on creating solutions for their clients. Due to growth, they now require the service of a sales professional to manage a set group of accounts, whilst growing new accounts across the VIC/ADL regions. Role based from their Melbourne office location.

The Role:

·        Target Film packaging industry sector to develop new business.

·        Responsible for servicing a range of customer’s prompting and driving sales of their Engineered Plastics, Elastomer, and polyolefin materials across a wide variety of industries.

·        You will use your technical knowledge and sales skills to achieve set monthly targets whilst offering your clients the best advice.

·        Customers will be based in VIC and interstate. Some travel is required.

The Candidate:

·        2+ year’s face to face sales experience with an ability to demonstrate a good understanding of technical knowledge within the polymers industry an advantage.

·        A relevant technical qualification would be an advantage (Polymer Science/Chemistry)

·        Computer Literate including user of MS Office suite and CRM Software is essential.

·        Strong communication skills and excellent sales processes

·        Strong negotiation skills and ability to close a sale.
