Apply directWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA)** to lead the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Department of Health requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers while promoting a positive, team-oriented culture.
- Monitor and improve quality measures, survey readiness, infection prevention initiatives, and resident satisfaction.
- Partner with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and manage the facility's operating budget while maintaining financial performance and controlling expenses.
- Drive census growth by collaborating with admissions, marketing, hospitals, physicians, and community partners.
- Oversee risk management, life safety compliance, and emergency preparedness.
- Review operational metrics and implement performance improvement initiatives to achieve company goals.
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and community organizations.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and support employee recruitment, retention, engagement, and professional development.
- Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and implement action plans as needed.
- Promote a culture centered on compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Current Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license in the state of North Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Nursing Home Administrator experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
- Demonstrated success with regulatory compliance, survey management, census growth, quality improvement, and financial performance.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate teams, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
