Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development, this position plays a critical role in driving new business acquisition, expanding market presence, and securing long-term commercial cleaning and facility management contracts across key sectors.
This is a strategic growth position suited to a commercially driven professional who excels at developing client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
You will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle — from market engagement and opportunity origination through to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution — while working closely with operational and bid teams to ensure seamless service delivery and strong client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across target markets
- Develop and manage a strong, qualified pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers
- Conduct client needs analysis and develop tailored cleaning and facility management solutions
- Own the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and close
- Prepare high-quality proposals, pricing submissions, and persuasive client presentations
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure profitable new business contracts
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including forecasting, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting
- Represent the organisation at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new growth opportunities
About You
You are a high-performing B2B sales professional with a proven ability to originate, develop, and close complex commercial deals.
To succeed in this role, you will come from a Cleaning Services or Facilities Management background and have strong experience selling service-based solutions in commercial environments.
You will demonstrate:
