Mulesoft Engineer

About the role
Our client is a well-established technology consultancy looking for an experienced MuleSoft Engineer to join a key client engagement within the insurance sector.

You’ll work as part of a wider delivery team, designing, developing and supporting MuleSoft integrations across a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on engineering role, with a strong focus on building reliable APIs and integrations that connect applications, platforms and data across the organisation.

You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, business analysts and other delivery stakeholders to understand integration requirements and take solutions through development, testing and deployment.

About you
You’ll bring strong hands-on experience developing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ideally within large, complex organisations.

We’re particularly interested in experience across:

• MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4
• API-led connectivity and RESTful API development
• Anypoint Studio, API Manager and Exchange
• Designing and developing reusable APIs and integration services
• Integrating enterprise applications, SaaS platforms and data sources
• Authentication and API security, including OAuth
• CI/CD and automated deployment practices
• Troubleshooting, performance optimisation and production support
• Working within Agile delivery environments

Experience within insurance or financial services would be beneficial, as would previous experience working within a consultancy or client-facing delivery environment.

You’ll need to be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to get up to speed quickly within an established programme of work.
