R&D Operations Manager (ADAS)

Mission：

• The R&D Operation Manager supervises the R&D activity related to his/her customer.
• He/She ensures the management interface with the customer.
• He/She deploys the road map from the ADAS product line, and manages resources and budget related to his/her customer projects.

Responsibilities

• Customer interface
  • Manage the customer Intimacy with regular meetings.
  • Support the technical communications and business development actions
• Product development
  • Monitor the progress of his/her project, and identify risks in advance.
  • Ensure company process is followed in his/her projects
  • Ensure through the System TPMs that the customer deliveries are secured with a robust plan
  • Setup and lead task forces throughout the departments, to recover from customer/internal escalation
  • Maintain ASPICE compliance through each metier, with the help of the process engineers
  • Implement Standardization strategy, escalate Lessons Learned to improve the Standards
  • Propose solutions to maintain and improve the efficiency of R&D
  • Implement methodologies and Tools necessary to the developments
• Resources and budget management
  • Define with the metier department the assignment of teams on his projects
  • Define with the R&D Managers the competence which will be require in short and long term for the projects
  • Manage the resources dedicated to his projects
  • Define and follow the budgets related to his projects

Requirements

• Education: Engineering Degree
• 10 to 15 year experience in R&D development activities, thereby having gained a strong understanding of the development process
• People Management: Managed a team
• Budget Management: Managed a budget
• Product knowledge: ADAS related or electronics experience.
• Oral and written Communication(English and Japanese)
• Leadership: Sound knowledge and experience
