Technical Lead – Application Migration (SCADA / OT)

Location: Melbourne
Contract: Initial 1-month contract (with strong potential for extension)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – Application Migration (SCADA / OT) to support a complex technology integration and transition program involving critical Operational Technology (OT) environments.

This role will lead the technical migration and transition of key OT applications, ensuring systems are operationally ready, integrated, supported, and successfully handed over to new support teams. You will work across SCADA platforms, industrial systems, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deliver a safe and seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end acceptance into service of critical OT applications including SCADA, industrial platforms, and associated data systems
• Drive technical migration activities, cutover planning, and operational handover
• Ensure application readiness, data integrity, and integration stability throughout the transition
• Collaborate with infrastructure, business stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and issues across complex migration activities
• Support transition activities across SCADA, RTUs, historians, WAN environments, and OT Active Directory platforms

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience leading application migration and technology transition initiatives
• Strong hands-on experience across SCADA / OT / Industrial Control Systems
• Experience managing technical cutovers, integrations, and operational readiness
• Ability to work across business, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver complex transitions
• Strong understanding of OT environments and industrial applications

Desirable Experience:

• Experience within Utilities, Energy, Manufacturing, Mining, or Industrial environments
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles and network segmentation
• Exposure to platforms such as GeoSCADA, Isagraph, Prolinx, Roclink, and metering/data platforms
