Key responsibilities:

  • As the Sales Director, formulating and implementing growth strategies, and managing the team
  • Leading the response to RFQs issued by the client
  • Leading the estimation, profit verification and improvement of projects during the development phase
  • Building relationships with the client (across various departments including purchasing, design, quality and production)

Requirements

  • University degree
  • Over 10 years experience in sales at a Tier-1 supplier in the automotive industry
  • Mechanical / mechatronics components experience required
  • English language skills sufficient for business and day-to-day communication
  • The ability to communicate calmly with clients and internal stakeholders, and to make sound independent judgements or consult immediately with line managers or relevant parties
  • The ability to maintain one’s own views and opinions whilst remaining flexible enough to incorporate feedback and instructions as the situation requires
  • Native level Japanese / fluent English
