The Opportunity
We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our team and help support and develop our technology environment.
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our IT systems, providing support to staff, performing system administration, and contributing to technology projects and improvements.
We are open to considering either full-time or a reduced-hours arrangement for the right candidate.

The Role

 Responsibilities include:
  • Providing end-user support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and business applications.
  • Assisting with the administration and support of Windows devices, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and related technologies.
  • User onboarding, offboarding, account administration, and access permissions.
  • Deploying, configuring, and supporting company laptops, mobile phones, and other end-user devices used across both office and operational environments.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, printing, networking, and connectivity issues.
  • Assisting with the maintenance and support of core IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Working with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintaining and improving IT documentation and system information.
  • Contributing to IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Helping maintain a secure, reliable, and well-managed IT environment.
As your knowledge of our systems and business grows, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of these responsibilities and play a key role in the ongoing development of our technology environment.

Your Profile

You will have:
  • Experience in an IT support, systems administration, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.
  • Experience deploying and supporting end-user devices, including laptops and mobile phones.
  • A good understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
The following would be advantageous:
  • Experience working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud and security technologies.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.
