Application Engineer - Machine Vision (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational company in machine vision. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10 years’ experience in machine vision for the job of Application Engineer. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include: 

• Report directly to Application Engineering Manager
• Provides application feasibilities and fast tracks as necessary.   
• Conducts demonstrations and online trials of products at customer sites, trade shows, seminars, and events.
• Troubleshoots issues at customers and provides resolutions to problems.
• Completes evaluation reports in a timely and complete manner while recommending a solution that fits within the constraints of the application. 
• Provides expertise in the integration of products with devices such as PLCs, PCs, or Controllers.   
• Develops a broad technical knowledge of products’ vision and sensor product families. 
• Provides customer and sales engineer training when required. 
• Provides product feedback to AE Manager and Product Business Units to improve products.
• Provides sales intelligence to sales when communicating with or visiting customers to help company win.
• Maintain and continuously update project information in salesBook. 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
• 10 years machine vision related applications engineering working experience preferred.
• Those who are electrical engineer but have machine vision debugging experience also welcome.
• Programming knowledge in C# / .Net / Java is an added advantage
• Knowledge in Industrial communication protocol for PLC  is an added advantage
• Machine Vision / Robotics / AI / Deep Learning knowledge is an added advantage
• Should be comfortable working in factory environment
