Full Stack Developer Team Lead

Our client is seeking a talented, Full Stack developer to lead their team to help develop web apps for clients in the marketing services field. Their team spans through all US time zones and this position is available for fully remote (US ONLY). You should have previous remote work experience and must overlap US/Pacific time during the workday by at least 4 hours.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a project team to build awesome web applications.
• Help to plan, design, and create web applications using JavaScript, Node, React, and REST APIs.
• Help to plan, design, and create plugins and flexible solutions using JavaScript libraries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience with Node.js
• Experience with REST / JSON API development and connectivity.
• Experience with HTML/CSS and Bootstrap or similar front-end framework.
• Experience with Git version control.
• You’ve worked successfully as part of a team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve their customer-facing and internal applications
• Contribute to multiple layers of our stack, from their web front-end, backend API's, and databases
• They’re a digitally connected team so if you feel comfortable using tools like Slack, Zoom, and case tracking, you’ll fit right in.
• Write clear, concise documentation and case updates.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other software engineers
• Assist with reliability, stability, and availability of applications
• Maintain best-practices for software development, including deployment process, documentation, and adherence to and improvement of coding standards.
• Participate in their engineering culture by embracing opportunities to learn from others.



What You Need for this Position

• 3+ yrs of current hands-on, full-time development experience
• Customer-focused and understand that shipping software involves tradeoff and collaboration
• Prior experience building production web apps using React and Node (or similar stack)
• Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines (front-end, back-end, databases, infrastructure, and devops)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in an efficient manner
• Experience building mobile apps (Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin, React Native) is desired but not mandatory
