Senior Network Engineer

SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER | SYDNEY

• PR or Australian Citizens ONLY - no sponsorship
• No relocation or no remote working.
• Up to $220k + Super (depending on experience)

I’m partnering with a highly technical, global organisation to find a highly experienced, technical Senior Network Engineer to join a team responsible for some seriously complex infrastructure across APAC.

This isn’t a BAU network support role.

You’ll be working across a large-scale, international LAN/WAN, data centre and security environment, solving complex infrastructure challenges where reliability, scalability, automation, capacity and performance are critical.

What you’ll be working on:

• End-to-end infrastructure deployments across APAC data centres
• Designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN environments
• Campus LAN environments across Arista & Cisco
• Multi-zone, multi-tier firewall architecture
• Data centre networking and infrastructure
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation
• Monitoring, benchmarking and optimising network performance
• International WAN environments
• Unix-based systems
• Working alongside software, infrastructure and hardware engineering teams on highly technical projects

What I’m looking for:

You’ll ideally have minimum 10+ years' experience as a Senior Network Engineer and, importantly, still be technically hands-on.

Strong experience across:

• Complex LAN/WAN design & implementation
• Arista and/or Cisco
• Campus & Data Centre networking
• Network security & firewall architecture
• Infrastructure as Code / automation
• Unix environments
• Large-scale international networks

I’m particularly interested in speaking with engineers who enjoy getting under the hood technically, people who can design the solution, implement it and troubleshoot it, rather than operating purely at an architectural level.
