Tax Lead - Shared Service APAC (based in Jakarta)
Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational shared service company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10- years’ experience in tax for the job of Tax Lead. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include: 

• Report directly to the Regional Finance Operations and Tax Director
• Provide taxation training to the wider Finance team.
• Prepare and file Income Tax, FBT, GST, Branch Tax, and other relevant returns.
• Review and analyse monthly taxation workpapers.
• Calculate and process year-end taxation journals; review the tax section of the audit file.
• Act as an internal expert, offering specialist knowledge and advice.
• Support senior managers in Finance to achieve performance targets and mitigate risk.
• Deliver operational excellence in complex Finance matters aligned with business strategy.
• Build trust and networks internally and externally with clients and professional bodies.
• Communicate effectively, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
• Encourage team performance through constructive feedback.
• Provide specialist input to projects, leveraging significant experience.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Significant knowledge of tax legislation and compliance in shared service company
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
• Proven ability to align contribution with organizational objectives.
