Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational shared service company. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 10- years’ experience in Accounts Payable for the job of Accounts Payable Lead. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key job responsibilities include: 

• Reporting to Accounts Payable Manager (New Zealand), dotted line to Finance Controller Ind & Thai (Jakarta)
• Work with Account payable team and other finance team in Indonesia and global
• Lead and oversee Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
• Manage ERP system processes and optimize digital tools for efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable team, supporting training and development.
• Handle multi-currency vendor payments, tax obligations, and non-trade transactions.
• Coordinate month-end reporting and ensure deadlines are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and strengthen financial controls.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding payment schedules and exceptions.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification preferred.
• 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable in shared service company.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and digital payment platforms.
• Proven ability to manage multi-currency transactions and complex payment schedules.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
