Large Area Device (LAD) Engineer

Mission of this Role:

In collaboration with the sales and engineering team, this position introduces and promotes the technology to customers (all Japan OEMs).

Location: Kanagawa location can be discussed if Nagoya is not possible.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire LAD technology information from Headquarter and/or global subject matter expertise then lead technically alongside internally Sales, Engineering and Quality teams.

• Function as a central point for product promotion, and support for the Sales and Engineering team for product definition for all J-OEMs.

• Function as an interface with the customer in the communication of product promotion and definition.

• Support New product team and Program Management to communicate for the product development and launch.

• Support Product Marketing and Sales with required technical information to drive product sales activity.

Requirements

• Education: B.S. degree in Engineering

• 12 or more years automotive experience working with a variety of engineering or technical related fields, disciplines, practices, and procedures.

• 3 or more years’ engineering experience as below: (MUST)

  • Glass-manufacturer who deliver to J-OEM

  • LCD companies and are familiar with electronics and structure

  • Film manufacture who deals with Light Control film

• Bilingual - native Japanese as well as fluent English required. (TOEIC 750 or higher.)

• High level of communication skills in maintaining internal and external communications.

• Demonstrate good skills in project scheduling, technical writing, and management of development.

• Global travel as required to support Sales and Engineering activities and customer communication.
