Production Associate

Nesco Resource is Hiring for manufacturing plant that produces engineered wood trusses, prefabricated wall panels and assembles job packages for delivery. We are looking for full-time Production Associates for the Day Shift, with occasional weekends.
Previous millwork and/or other production experience preferred but not required. A variety of positions are available with future opportunity for growth.
Must meet all requirements to be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
• Team player with positive attitude, help achieve department production goals
• Be safety conscious and motivated to exceed safety goals
• Associate must be able to read and understand shop details
• Setup and run machinery
• Read and understand job instructions (JI's)
• Ability to read a basic tape measure
• Strong communication skills
• Maintains excellent working relationships with internal associates, sub-contractors, and suppliers • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• High School Diploma or GED preferred Physical Demands/Work Environment:
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Frequently works near or around moving mechanical parts.
• Exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Exposed to airborne particles.
• Work environment: Wood processing, manufacturing operation.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature.
