Junior Sustainability Information Developer (12 Months Contract)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Sustainability Information Developer to join its Singapore Center of Excellence for Sustainability. This role sits at the intersection of Sustainability, Product Development, Marketing, Compliance, and Communications, serving as the bridge between technical R&D teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Content & Messaging

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for sustainability messaging across Our client's Home and Office portfolio.
• Partner closely with R&D, Product, Sustainability, Engineering, and Marketing teams to identify sustainability innovations and translate them into compelling business narratives.
• Develop, review, and refine sustainability messaging for:
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Sales enablement materials
  • Internal communications
  • Events and presentations
• Ensure all messaging is accurate, consistent, and aligned with our client's sustainability strategy and brand voice.

Sustainability Claims & Data Substantiation

• Support the development and validation of sustainability claims by:
  • Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across R&D, Engineering, Sustainability, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Reviewing technical documentation, reports, and internal data sources.
  • Translating engineering and technical information into approved customer-facing claims and messaging.
• Maintain clear documentation linking sustainability claims to supporting evidence, approvals, and reference materials.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

• Monitor competitor sustainability communications and product positioning.
• Track industry developments, sustainability regulations, and emerging market trends within the print and imaging industry.
• Share market insights and competitive intelligence to strengthen HP's sustainability messaging and positioning.

Content Management & Knowledge Repository

• Develop and maintain a centralized sustainability messaging library containing:
  • Approved claims and messaging
  • Supporting substantiation documents
  • Audience-specific content (sales, marketing, events, internal communications)
• Ensure messaging remains current, organised, and easily accessible for global stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Degree or background in Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of sustainability concepts such as:
  • Energy efficiency
  • Circular economy
  • Sustainable materials
  • Environmental certifications and ecolabels
• Comfortable analysing data, technical documentation, and supporting sustainability claim substantiation.
• Ability to interpret technical information from R&D, Engineering, and Product teams, and translate it into concise, audience-friendly content.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
