Who's Hiring?
We’re excited to be partnering with Country Arts SA, a vibrant and respected organisation enriching regional communities through the arts, to recruit an enthusiastic and capable HR Coordinator for an 8-month Fixed Term Contract (covering maternity leave).

This is an exceptional opportunity for an early-career HR professional who’s eager to take the next step — broadening their skills, gaining strategic exposure, and contributing to meaningful work that supports creativity, culture, and community.

So, what's the role?
Based in Collinswood, this role supports a diverse workforce of around 55 permanent staff and over 100 total staff (including casuals). You’ll enjoy a mix of operational HR and recruitment tasks alongside involvement in strategic projects, giving you the chance to see the full employee lifecycle in action.

From day one, you’ll be part of a close-knit team that values curiosity, initiative, and collaboration. You’ll gain hands-on experience across key HR functions while contributing to initiatives that shape the future of Country Arts SA.

No two days will look exactly the same, but a typical week might see you:
  • Providing general HR advice and support across the organisation
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment and sitting on interview panels
  • Assisting Hiring Managers with candidate assessments and onboarding
  • Preparing HR reports, documentation, and correspondence
  • Supporting the rollout of a new HRIS
  • Contributing to strategic HR initiatives and improvement projects
  • Occasional regional travel to connect with teams across SA
What You'll Bring
You’re an organised, people-oriented professional who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering quality work. You’re keen to learn, contribute, and grow your HR career in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

To be successful in the role, you'll bring:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR and/or recruitment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience supporting senior leaders (advantageous)
  • Exposure to corporate or multi-site environments (beneficial)
  • A genuine desire to build a long-term career in HR
What's in it for You?
  • Play a key role in supporting people who bring arts and culture to communities across regional SA.
  • Gain valuable strategic HR and systems experience in a supportive team environment.
  • Hybrid work options and understanding of work/life balance.
  • Work with a passionate, people-focused organisation that values creativity, connection, and inclusion.
