What you'll be doing
- Finding and winning new customers across SA. This is the main focus of the role.
- Mapping the territory: who's buying, who's specifying and who you should be talking to
- Following up quotes, responding to tenders and winning projects
- Growing and looking after existing accounts and distributor relationships
- Travelling regionally, including mining and resources centres
- Keeping the CRM current and reporting monthly on pipeline and sales
- A proven record of winning new business in B2B technical or industrial sales. We'll ask for numbers.
- Experience in a remote, self-managed role where you set your own week and deliver results without someone looking over your shoulder
- Background in utilities, infrastructure, civil, construction, building products or tender-based sales is ideal
- You don't need to know this particular industry. If you're bright, commercially sharp and can do business development, you'll get full product training.
- You're organised and turn up to every meeting prepared
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across SA
- $120K–$145K base + super
- Commission paid quarterly, with real upside for people who win new business
- Car allowance
- Autonomy over your own territory
