THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading global organisation specialising in laboratory equipment, scientific instrumentation and highly technical solutions used across pharmaceutical, life sciences, research and manufacturing environments. They have built an excellent reputation for innovation, precision and technical expertise and work with some of the largest organisations across Ireland and internationally.
Their Irish operation continues to grow, and they are now looking to add a Field Service Engineer to their technical team, supporting customers across Dublin and Leinster.
THE ROLE:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of a broad portfolio of laboratory and scientific instrumentation.
This is a varied technical role where you will split your time between the company's Dublin workshop, customer sites across Leinster and working from home for administration and planning.
Your typical week will involve approximately 2 days in the Dublin workshop, 2 days on the road visiting customer sites and Friday working from home.
Key responsibilities include:
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing laboratory and scientific instrumentation
• Installing and commissioning new equipment at customer sites
• Diagnosing electrical, mechanical and technical faults
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for customers
• Working across pharmaceutical, life sciences, research, university and laboratory environments
• Completing service reports and associated administration
• Liaising with customers, internal technical teams and the wider commercial team
Full product and technical training will be provided, so you do not need previous experience working on their specific equipment.

A full clean driving licence is essential.
YOUR CAREER:
This company has an excellent reputation for training and developing its people. You will receive comprehensive technical and product training, alongside ongoing support from an experienced service team.
For a Science or Engineering graduate, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on technical experience and build a career with a global scientific organisation.
