Our client is a global manufacturer of products used all over the world, with own sales and service companies directly on location where their customers are based.
A rare opportunity has arisen for a Recruitment Advisor to join the Melbourne based team – to support hiring managers in the identification, recruitment, and onboarding of high calibre candidates.
ROLE SYNOPSIS
The Recruitment Advisor will drive and support hiring managers in the identification, recruitment, and onboarding of high calibre candidates, provide accurate record‑keeping, and smooth coordination of daily processes and projects—enhancing HR outcomes and the employee experience.

ROLE SYNOPSIS
The Recruitment Advisor will drive and support hiring managers in the identification, recruitment, and onboarding of high calibre candidates, provide accurate record‑keeping, and smooth coordination of daily processes and projects—enhancing HR outcomes and the employee experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Prior practical experience in recruitment across blue- and white-collar roles at various levels
- Prior experience with recruitment software programs
- Sound working knowledge of current industrial relations legislation for both Australia & New Zealand
- Previous experience in a fast-paced multi-site business, with exposure to all facets of the employment life cycle
- Ideally, experience working for a multinational, preferably in a Medical or Safety (technical recruitment) environment
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with a wide range of managers and employees across an organisation
- Analysis and problem-solving skills
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working under pressure and organising work priorities to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative, capacity to work without supervision and confidence in decision making
- Experience in OHS&E legislation and practices both in Australia & New Zealand would be advantageous
- Possess expertise in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A continuous improvement mindset

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to support managers in the selection and employment of high calibre candidates
- In conjunction with managers, develop job profiles for each position to clearly define the key attributes, skills, knowledge, and competencies required in the selection and employment of the best candidate
- Identify and develop a pool of talented prospective applicants across all areas of the business through online advertising, word of mouth, brand awareness, and staff referrals
- Provide interpretation to line managers regarding policies, programs, and practices in order that they have support before making decisions
- Manage employment contracts and act as an advocate for the company
- Engage with recruitment agencies
- Enhance candidates’ experience and actively promote a positive organisational culture
- Foster a culture of safety first, perform all activities with safety as a priority, following OH&S standards and the client’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Tertiary level qualification in the field of Human Resources / Psychology
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a medium to large generalist HR environment
- Immediate start – July Start
- 6 month - Max Term position that supports Global organization with Australian presence – possible extension or further opportunities
